MORE than a Coding Bootcamp...
is a social innovation and impact program
dedicated
to providing opportunity through coding training
to rural and under-served communities.
dedicated
to providing opportunity through coding training
to rural and under-served communities.
The idea was always simple:
take laptops and instructors out to individuals and communities
who could benefit greatly from a career path in web development.
New Mexico
is working to prepare and employ
a tech-saavy workforce
and grow
our Emergent Media and Technology
economy and ecosystem.
Cultivating Coders,
a New-Mexico born and based non-profit,
is a W.I.O.A. certified
(Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act)
traveling coding bootcamp
that brings technical training in web application development
to rural and under-served urban areas,
with help and vision from organizations and partners
that provide space, internships and equipment.

Coding BootCamp Graduates
from Shiprock High School in Dinetah (Navajo Nation)
By training individuals in a variety of web development languages such as HTML, PHP, JavaScript and more, Cultivating Coders provides students with the skills that are relevant in the current job market that will allow them to seek immediate employment. The program also helps give back to the community by offering free web application services to local businesses. Students take on a business project and while they learn real world coding skills, a business benefits by getting a real web application that will help their business by keeping up to date and utilizing ever evolving web application technologies.
