REGISTER > ![]() Social MeOur first ever social media marketing classes with Facebook kicked off last week! Twenty-eight community members with their own businesses, working for other businesses, or just hoping to up-skill, came together in the City of Santa Fe's Office of Economic Development at their Market Street Station office to learn how to market through social media platforms. Over two days, these community members learned the basics of social media marketing, how to market with Facebook pages, how to market with Facebook ads, and how to market with Instagram. Economic development is critical to northern New Mexico's communities. Many people have no online presence and don't know how to market their products or services through the latest platforms. We are working together with Facebook's Community Boost initiative to grow digital skills across northern New Mexico. Employers rate digital skills amongst the most important skill-sets people need nowadays for hiring. These social media marketing classes will help people increase their employability through increased skill sets and help businesses reach broader audiences.
