We are making a video to promote coding!
You can help!
National job openings in computing exceed 500,000, but less than 43,000 computer science students entered the tech workforce this year. This situation gets more alarming,
given the fact that most of our schools don’t even teach computer science,
and many tech jobs must be filled by employees from overseas.
Unfortunately, New Mexico students are being left behind.
New Mexico TechWorks is working collaboratively
to create a Promotional Coding Video unique to New Mexico
that parallels the national coding film below:
Yes, I would like to be a part of this video project!
To submit a video clip for possible inclusion in the final
Promotional New Mexico Coding Film:
~ Record a horizontal video clip
~ Clip should be approximately 3 to 20 seconds long
~ Use a smart phone or camera with video capabilities
At the beginning of your recording, record a video release by stating and spelling your name, location, and your organization/school/or business and then stating: "I give permission for this recording to be used by New Mexico TechWorks for educational and charitable purposes"
Record one or more representatives from your organization, business, or school in a significant place or recognizable location saying any one of the following comments (Or send a longer clip and say ALL of the comments below)::
"Hour of Code" ...
"New Mexico Codes" ...
"Tech WORKS in New Mexico"...
" New Mexico is getting Tech Smart since Tech Works for New Mexico"
"WE love Tech"
"We can DO it. YOU can do it."

and/or " (#) lines of code"
(whatever number of lines of code you have written)
