F.A.Q.

What is "Opportunity Santa Fe" Birth to Career Collaboration?

a collective impact effort among committed leaders and stakeholders
to achieve birth to career success for all Santa Fe children, families, and communities by aligning our strategies, actions, and resources to improve outcomes.
(Stewarded by the Santa Fe Community Foundation)

What is the Tech Working Group working on?

Outcome Area: Career Pathways and Workforce Development
TechHire Santa Fe is working with local education providers to expand and improve Tech and Emergent Media education, training, and certification opportunities and to promote and expand Tech and Emergent Media camp and after-school programs. TechHire Santa Fe is working with local Tech and Emergent Media employers to identify needed skills and ensure educational programs link with growing business needs. We are also developing a local database of Tech and Emergent Media businesses, developing an online video bank of more than 50 New Mexico Tech and Emergent Media Career Profile interviews with local professionals (preferably by youth for youth), and expanding local Tech and Emergent Media outreach, awareness, and engagement.
Lead Convener: Community Learning Network and New Mexico TechWorks
